We have prepared this Privacy Policy to describe to you our practices regarding the Personal Data (as defined below) that you share with us either physically at our office located at Unit 6 Commerce Park, 19 Commerce Way, Croydon, England, CR0 4YL or virtually on our website, www.studyabroadconsultants.co.uk By using our website, platform, or mobile applications, and by purchasing or procuring any of our services, you expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of our contract with you. If you do not agree to, or cannot comply with, the data processing practices outlined in this policy, you must immediately cease using our platform or providing any Personal Data. In such cases, you will not be permitted to proceed with, access, or procure any of our services.
We reserve the right to immediately terminate, restrict, or refuse your access to our services if you withdraw your consent or object to necessary data processing required for the performance of our contract with you, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. User Consent.
By sharing your Personal Data with us, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adapting or altering, retrieving, consulting, using, processing or disclosing by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction (hereinafter “Use”) of your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy lays down the manner in which SAC may Use your Personal Data. Any sharing of Personal Data by you either physically or at the Site will constitute an understanding and consent to all the guidelines, policies and terms and conditions specified herein and at the Site. If the same is not acceptable to you we request you to not share the Personal Date and not use the Site. By sharing your Personal Data and using the Site, you consent to the use of any Personal Data provided or collected about you in the manner as specified herein and as per the applicable laws. You may, before sharing the Personal Data read the Privacy Policy to understand the Personal Data and information that may be Used by SAC. The Privacy Policy covers Use of personally identifiable information of yours by SAC. It shall be applicable to all the information, whether collected physically or through the Site or in any other manner either electronically or on paper.
2. A Note About Children/People aged below 18 years.
We do not intentionally gather Personal Data from visitors who are under the age of 13. If you are less than 18 years of age, then you must seek the consent of your parent or guardian prior to sharing any Personal Data or information on the Site or on paper whether physically or virtually.
3. A Note to Users.
Your Personal Data may be Used in the country in which it is collected and in other countries subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
3A. Data Controller and Data Processor
SAC acts as the Data Controller in relation to the Personal Data collected for enquiries, counselling, marketing, customer relationship management, application management and the provision of its services. Where SAC processes Personal Data solely on behalf of a third party, educational institution, business partner or client, SAC shall act as a Data Processor and shall process such Personal Data only in accordance with the documented instructions of the relevant Data Controller and applicable Data Protection Laws. Where Personal Data is processed on behalf of third parties, educational institutions or business partners, SAC shall process such Personal Data in accordance with the applicable contractual obligations and applicable Data Protection Laws.
3B. Cross-border Transfers
Where Personal Data is transferred outside the jurisdiction in which it was collected, SAC shall implement appropriate contractual, technical and organisational safeguards in accordance with applicable Data Protection Laws to ensure an adequate level of protection

4. Types of Data We Collect.
We collect the following information about you:
i. “Personal Data” i.e., data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name, date of birth, gender, parent and guardian details, telephone number, e-mail address, next of kin and emergency contact, details of criminal convictions, geographic location, any demographic information provided by you as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data.
ii. In order to access certain content and to make use of additional features on our website/ our services, we may ask you to register for an account by completing and submitting a registration for, which you may be asked to submit additional information not specified herein above.
iii. In case you choose to register through third party account then the same will be subject to Clause 14 of this Privacy Policy and will not be covered by the protection of this Privacy Policy.
iv. We will collect your name, email address and any other information about your third-party account that you agree to share with us at the time of giving permission for your account to be linked to your third-party account.
5. Pseudonymization of Data.
“Anonymous Data” means data that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data; Anonymous Data does not, by itself, permit the identification of individual persons. We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data, as described herein.
6. Not Personal Data.
No information that is available freely or, is accessible in public domain or, has been furnished under any right to information law for the time being in force shall be regarded as Personal Data or information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.
7. Freedom to share/not to share.
You are completely free to not provide any such Personal Data or information. Providing any Personal Data or information whether directly or indirectly is absolutely voluntary. In case such information is not provided, you may not be able to access or procure any consultancy or training programs offered by SAC. Any such Personal Data or information shared and provided may be done with the knowledge and consent that all such information and Personal Data collected may be Used, at a destination in or outside the territory where it is collected and may be shared by SAC with its vendor partners.
8. Information You Provide to Us.
The Personal Data is provided to us by you out of your own free will and after reading and understanding this Privacy Policy with an intention to be a part of one or more of the many, consultancy and training programs of SAC, or to purchase any product of SAC.
9. Information Collected via Technology.
(i) Information Collected by Our Site. To make our Site more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third-party service provider) collect information from you, including your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit.

11. Use of Your Personal Data
i. SAC processes Personal Data only where there is a lawful basis to do so, including performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, legitimate interests pursued by SAC or a third party, public interest, or the data subject’s consent, where required by applicable law.
ii. General Use. We use your Personal Data in the following ways: (1) to identify you as a user in our system and for generating your personalized report and send the same to you, and the authorized partner; (2) to improve our Site and the quality of experience when you interact with our Site; (3) to send you administrative e-mail notifications;
iii. Creation of Anonymous Data. We may create Anonymous Data records from Personal Data by excluding information (such as your name) that make the data personally identifiable to you. We use this Anonymous Data to analyze request and usage patterns so that we may enhance the content of our Site and improve Site navigation. SAC reserves the right to use Anonymous Data for any purpose and disclose Anonymous Data to third parties in its sole discretion. Once the purpose for which SAC Uses your Personal Data or information is over and no longer requires identification of you then SAC shall not be obliged to maintain, acquire or process additional information from you in order to make the data or information identifiable.
iv. To comply with any obligation under law.

In case of withdrawal of the consent by you SAC shall have the option not to provide services for which the said information was sought and is required.

11A. Automated Processing
SAC may use automated technologies, including artificial intelligence tools, to assist with customer support, communication, information retrieval, course recommendations, administrative functions and service delivery. Unless otherwise notified, decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects shall not be based solely on automated processing without meaningful human involvement, except where permitted by applicable law.
12. Disclosure of Personal Data. SAC may disclose, disseminate transfer or share all or any or your Personal Data or information with the persons and in the manner as provided below or anywhere else herein.
i. Sub-processors and Service Providers. SAC may engage authorized subcontractors, service providers or sub-processors to process Personal Data on its behalf. Such entities shall process Personal Data only for authorized purposes, shall be bound by contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations, and shall implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
ii. Third Party. We may share your data with any third-party only in compliance with this Privacy Policy and to the extent as may be necessary for performance and provision of services by SAC for which the Site is accessed by you in which case we may require the Third Party to honor this Privacy Policy. We may share your data with the authorized partner and company. Third parties are bound to abide by this Privacy Policy and security requirement and are not allowed to use Personal Data they receive from us for any other purpose.
iii. Affiliates. We may share some or all of your Personal Data with our parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (“Affiliates”), in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.
iv. Independent Service Providers. SAC may share Personal Data with independent service providers, associated entities, branch offices, outsourcing partners and administrative support providers engaged by SAC for marketing, student recruitment, counselling, admissions support, application processing, document verification, customer support, compliance, technology services, finance, operational support and other related business purposes. Such entities shall process Personal Data only for authorised purposes, shall be contractually bound to maintain confidentiality and implement appropriate security measures, and shall not use such Personal Data for their own independent purposes.
v. Corporate Restructuring. We may share some or all your Personal Data in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition or dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all a portion of our business or assets. In the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, Personal Data may also be transferred as a business asset. If another company acquires our company, business, or assets, that company will possess the Personal Data collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy.
vi. Other Disclosures. Regardless of any choices you make regarding your Personal Data (as described below), SAC may disclose Personal Data if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary (1) in connection with any legal investigation; (2) to comply with relevant laws, statutory requirements/administrative action, or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on SAC; (3) to protect or defend the rights or property of SAC users of the Site; and/or (4) to investigate or assist in preventing any violation or potential violation of the law, this Privacy Policy, or the Internet Site Terms and Conditions.
SAC shall not under any circumstances be liable for security or for removal of any Personal Data or information in the data base of and that shared with any Third Party.
13. Third Party Websites.
When you click on a link to any other website or location, you will leave our Site and go to another site and another entity may collect Personal Data or Anonymous Data from you. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for, these outside websites or their content. You should be aware that identifiable personal information-such as your name, contact details including but not limited to telephone number, email address, residential and work address etc. that you voluntarily disclose and that is accessible to other users (e.g. on social media, forums, bulletin boards or in chat areas) could be collected and disclosed by others. We cannot take responsibility for such collection and disclosure.
15. Access and Review
You may request to access, review and modify the personal information provided by you to ensure that the Personal Data and information is correct and updated. SAC will endeavor to comply with the request to correct and update the personal information and data as is reasonably practicable/feasible and inform you about the same.
16. Non-Personal Information
Any non-personal information which does not identify anyone personally, may be collected in any manner and from any means whatsoever and may be Used as deemed fit by SAC.
17. Security and Safety
SAC uses such, organizational, technical and administrative measures which are reasonable and secure as per the industry standards to protect your Personal Data and information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. In addition, we train our employees about the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and security of your information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet or any data stored in the computer systems is hundred percent secure. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee any such absolute security of information shared by you and you may do so at your absolute risk. In case at any time while dealing with us you have a reason to believe that your Personal Data or information is no more secure or security of the same is being compromised upon then you may immediately notify us about the problem by contacting us on the contact details specified below.
Access to Personal Data is limited to employees, contractors and authorised personnel who have a legitimate business need to know such information and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
In the event of any Personal Data Breach, SAC shall take appropriate remedial measures and, where required by applicable law, notify the affected individuals, relevant Data Controller(s) and/or competent supervisory authority without undue delay.

You may request deletion of your Personal Data by us, but please note that we may be required to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database but may remain in our archives.

The aforesaid rights shall be exercisable subject to the fact that exercise of such rights does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.

Subject to the provisions of this policy you have the right to restrict us from processing your Personal Data and information (with exception of storage) on the following grounds and for the specified time:
i. Where there issue as to the accuracy of the Personal Data or information;
